Meet Eleni

Γεια! I’m Eleni Sophia — a dancer, singer, actress, and a naturally blonde, Greek princess.

While I’m currently finishing up college in central New Jersey, I have a deep love of travel and a strong desire to share my art nationwide.

From a young age, the stage has been calling my name. Like many theatrical kids, my journey began as Orphan #3 in Annie — you know, the one with the little redhead. Not long after, I made my dance debut as a poodle in my first (of many) dance recitals. Growing up at the ballet barre taught me so much about the human body and movement. I’ve trained extensively in ballet, hip hop, modern, jazz, contemporary, and — my all-time favorite — tap.

I earned my Equity Membership Candidate status at Virginia Stage Company and have performed in multiple productions with Virginia Musical Theatre. These experiences gave me my first taste of the professional theatre world — and left me hungry for more. That passion led me to the college audition circuit, ultimately landing me at Rider University in Lawrenceville, New Jersey.

In college, my aspirations soared. I co-founded a tap club with fellow dancers, “The Bronc’s Hoofers,” where I shared my love of tap and choreographic skills with the program, deepening my connection to the art form. Outside campus, I taught tap at Glen Roc Dance Shoppe in Ewing, NJ. At Rider, I performed in a wide range of student-led and mainstage productions. My favorite? Nice Work If You Can Get It, where I played Jeannie Muldoon — a longtime dream role thanks to the soft spot in my heart for comical blondes.

In May 2025, I graduated from Rider University’s nationally recognized Musical Theatre program with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre. My dream is to help shape new works — to be part of early readings and original productions that haven’t yet found their footing. I want to lift small stories to new heights, to be part of the creative journey from the first table read to final curtain. I want to kick high, belt big, and dance my heart out in every full-scale production I’m lucky to be part of.

When I’m not on stage, you’ll probably find me at my local independent movie theatre, flipping through vinyls at a used record shop, catching a local band with friends, riding the waves of Chics Beach with my family or planning out my Halloween costume. Yes, it is absolutely that serious.
